Firesheep research project featured on BBC Newsnight June 6, 2011

What started as a small experiment in ‘packet-sniffing’ on public WIFI networks turned into an enormous story about the way people use public networks, the regulatory issues and relative responsibilities involved, and perspectives on privacy and security in an era of social media. Our formal research findings are pending academic publication.
