Doing the Breakfast shows in the UK is a completely different experience from offering analysis on evening news. The pacing is quick and diverse and the content tends to focus a lot more on features and above all else … celebrities.

Discussing Twitter abuse and celebrities was like being in the eye of a perfect storm of breakfast TV. Was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was to be on the couch with a seasoned TV pro in Lizzy Cundy, who presents for a variety of entertainment programmes in the UK. We agreed to make it spicy in advance and at one stage I thought I might next be auditioning for a guest slot on Geraldo Rivera.
